CHANGE IN EDUCATION IN COVID ERA by Shailendra Bhadauria
How the institutions ensure knowledge in their curriculum?
Most
of the students are asking, as an institution how one would be able to get the
knowledge of their curriculum by attending their classes through online medium.
Well, as an educationist my opinion is very clear and that is a bit different
also. By online medium, it’s good to cover your courseware but what about
practical education. It will be around 70% on the total education as compare to non-covid times.
What if anyone doesn’t understand online learning mediums?
In
India, we are now plenty of smartphones in our population. As per the survey, approximately 80% of the population has smartphones but most of them are using for
their own entertainment and fun. Whenever we talk about education, students show
them as fully illiterate about it. Since covid hasn’t given time to anyone to prepare
himself for online education, most of the students haven’t given any attention to
education by using smartphones. It applies to institutions also; they were also
not prepared to shift their curriculum to online mode. So it is an unplanned
effort for both students and institutions. Still, institutions are making best efforts to educate but students are still waiting for the situation to be normal, only then they will act seriously on their studies.
In a nutshell, it’s about both your efforts & technology and fully depends on both educator & student.
Stay safe and practice proper hygiene while
keeping your spirits pumped up for the next intake season.
